The fever reaches its regional peak at the Salsa Festival Augsburg, where no wish is left unfulfilled: professional international salsa teachers offer numerous workshops for beginners to advanced in various styles over two days. In the evenings, the salsa world shows its brightest side. International DJs cheer on the artists and dance groups for inspiring show blocks. In the Descarga, a firework display of spontaneous dance improvisations, the pros push their skills to the extreme – a rousing mixture of creativity, passion and technique.
The participants not only get to see first-class shows with international stars, but can also take their first steps themselves or try out the newly learned techniques of the professionals. In addition to salsa (all style), Bachata, ChaCha, Bachatango, Kizomba, Mambo and Zouk can also be learned and practiced
The highlight of the festival is the gala evening on Saturday with great dance shows in the large auditorium of the Parktheater
