Adolfo Indacochea

Adolfo Indacochea is a renowned salsa dancer, choreographer, and instructor from Peru. He was born on January 1, 1973, in Lima, Peru. Adolfo's passion for dance began at an early age. When he was just seven years old, he started studying Afro-Peruvian dance, and later, at the age of 15, he discovered salsa. Adolfo was immediately hooked and began practicing and performing in various salsa clubs in Lima. In 1998, Adolfo moved to New York City to pursue his dream of becoming a professional salsa dancer. He quickly made a name for himself on the salsa scene, and in 2002, he became the World Salsa Champion in the "On 2" category. He has since won numerous other awards and accolades for his performances and choreography. Adolfo is known for his unique style of salsa dancing, which combines elements of Afro-Cuban, Puerto Rican, and New York salsa. He is also a talented instructor and has taught salsa workshops and masterclasses all over the world. He has developed his own teaching method, which emphasizes body movement, musicality, and connection with one's partner.
